Don't be surprised if Warner Bros.' "The Dark Knight Rises" has a Los Angeles kind of look to it when it opens July 20. Christopher Nolan's third Batpic generated the most shooting activity among features lensed on the streets of Los Angeles last year with 249 permitted days, according to figures provided Tuesday by the FilmL.A. permitting agency. "The Dark Knight Rises," listed on permits as "Magnus Rex," racked up six consecutive weeks during the late summer and early fall as the leading offlot feature production. Hill at the Broadway Trade Center; and Frank Court Alley between 6th and 7th streets. Dreamworks' family drama "Welcome to People" totalled the second highest level of feature production activity in Los Angeles with 224 days. Release date hasn't been set yet for the pic, directed by Alex Kurtzman and starring Chris Pine, Olivia Wilde, Elizabeth Banks, Michelle Pfeiffer and Mark Duplass. "Sports Camp" was third most active feature with 156 days followed "Neighbors" and Judd Apatow's comedy "This is 40." Hollywood's offlot production of features rose 5.7% last year to 5,682 days.
